My experiences with the web
conference sessions in this course were far from pleasant. I found them to be a
bit chaotic. There were quite a few people logged on and many technical difficulties
were experienced for both students and professors. However, regardless of the
unorganized feel of the conference I was able to get the answers I was seeking
to gain a better understanding of the expectations of the assignment. One
suggestion to make web conferences a little less disorganized would be to
create smaller groups for required conferences. It seems when conferences are
required upwards of a 100 participants show up and this is when I have
experienced the most issues. In my opinion, it seems as though a participant load
of 50 should really be the cut-off. I believe this would help to ease the
disarray.
